PERFORMANCE TRAINING

OUR SYSTEM

At Durable Athlete, everything begins with durability. Creating a body & system that is able to thrive & withstand the demands of daily life. Whether you are a basketball, soccer, volleyball or 9-5 athlete, we begin by understanding the demands of your day to day life and reverse engineering the process.

We prioritize injury mitigation, movement quality, and long-term resilience — not just short-term performance. By strengthening the connective tissues, joints, fascia, and muscles that make up the human system, we help athletes move better, feel better, and perform at a higher level for longer.

Whether you’re a youth athlete, an adult client, or an entire team, our mission is simple: Build a body that stays strong, adapts to stress, and supports the lifestyle you want — on the court, field, or in everyday life.

Our Assessment Process

Every athlete’s journey begins with a comprehensive assessment designed to give us a scientific understanding of how you move, produce force, and manage stress.

  • We utilize Hawkin Dynamics force plates to measure:

    • Force production

    • Rate of force development

    • Asymmetries

    • Elasticity, stiffness & reactive strength

    • Power output

  • Athletes move through fundamental patterns that reveal:

    • Movement tendencies

    • Mobility or stability restrictions

    • Compensation patterns

    • Joint limitations

  • We identify structural or muscular imbalances that:

    • Increase injury risk

    • Limit power output

    • Reduce movement efficiency

What We Offer

Strength & Speed academy (group training)

This unique program was created to provide a personalized, all-in-one program to improve speed, strength & athleticism.

Every athlete begins with a testing battery to gather real scientific data that allows us to build a personalized program — not a group template. We offer this program 4 days a week & plan for athletes to attend 2-3 days / week.

Athletes train in a semi-private environment with dedicated time blocks throughout the week. Athletes can show up to any one of our day-time blocks below and work through their personalized workout program with DA coaches present.

Coaches help guide, refine, and progress athletes through their individualized plans.

This is where athletes grow.

This is where confidence is built.

This is the Strength & Speed Academy.

Schedule:
Monday - Thursday: 4:30 - 7:30 PM
Saturday: 9:00 - 11:00 AM

Durable Youth Athletics (Kinder - 6th Grade)

We believe the best athletes are built early. Many high school athletes struggle with running form, posture, and coordination—skills that should be developed long before then. Our youth programs focus on building strong movement foundations now, creating confident, resilient athletes ready for any sport.

K–3 Youth Performance (Kinder–2nd Grade)

Speed • Agility • Coordination • Confidence

This class introduces young athletes to athletic movement in a fun, play-based environment. Training feels like games, while developing speed, balance, coordination, and body control that carry over to every sport.

What They’ll Do:

  • Speed & Sprint Games: short sprints, reaction games, relays, chase & tag

  • Agility & Coordination: obstacle courses, ladders, shuffles, mirror drills

  • Light Medicine Ball Throws: chest passes, overhead and rotational throws

Our Focus:

✔ Coordination & balance
✔ Proper speed development
✔ Confidence and body control
✔ Making training FUN

No heavy weights. No early specialization. Just building durable, confident movers.

4th–6th Grade Performance Training

Strength • Speed • Coordination • Movement Skill

Designed for upper elementary athletes, this program prepares kids for future middle school and high school training by improving movement quality, speed, and safe strength development.

What They’ll Do:

  • Speed Training: acceleration, sprint mechanics, reaction drills, safe stopping

  • Agility & Change of Direction: multi-directional drills, ladders, mirror work

  • Medicine Ball Power: chest, overhead, rotational, and scoop throws

  • Intro Strength Training: bodyweight movements, landing mechanics, light resistance when appropriate

Development Goals:

✔ Sprint mechanics & agility
✔ Coordination and posture
✔ Core strength & power
✔ Safe landing and injury reduction

This stage builds the foundation athletes need to progress safely into advanced training later on.
